Prediction post - Trust in real estate will be tested again
Here is my prediction for how the next two decades of personal mobility will play out.
Environmental pressures much like the COVID era will quietly push companies away from traditional office spaces.
There will come a time again where trust in commercial real estate will weaken.
Lean companies will shift first, adopting virtual offices, immersive meetings, and tools like Microsoft Mesh Teams as their default workspace.
Larger enterprises won’t fully abandon offices but will shrink seat capacity and rely heavily on hybrid models.
Residential real estate stays mostly stable; the real impact hits corporate office demand.
Virtual meetings won’t be a temporary fix this time , they’ll become the long term norm.
